The Excellence in Nursing and Midwifery Awards (EINMA) are a yearly awards program produced by the NSW Ministry of Health.
We partner with NSW Health to produce a dynamic hybrid event, featuring high-quality video content that showcases the outstanding contributions of our nurses and midwives.
Since 2020, Keyy Productions has been the creative force behind the pre-recorded video packages that bring the EINMA live event to life through compelling, high-quality storytelling.
This large-scale project is built on years of close collaboration with our client Jo and NSW Health. Each year, we strengthen this partnership, delivering compelling interviews and entertainment segments that highlights the dedication of nurses and midwives.
A key challenge for this project is the extensive pre-production planning required to seamlessly coordinate our crew’s travel across the state, capturing interviews and finalist packages in up to 17 locations.
To complement the interviews and add some lighter moments to the awards, each year we create engaging entertainment segments. Whether it’s asking primary school kids what they think a midwife does or fun ‘Would You Rather?’ challenges, these moments bring warmth, joy, and a dose of humour.
Our partnership with NSW Health has thrived by focusing on the humanity of dedicated nurses and midwives through authentic, candid interviews.
Each segment was carefully crafted to capture raw, heartfelt reactions as finalists heard their nomination reasons for the first time, creating powerful and deeply personal moments.
This project qualified for our Safe Storytelling approach to video production, ensuring each person’s story was captured with the utmost care, sensitivity, and respect.
Our duty of care extends into the edit, where each video package is meticulously crafted to meet detailed post-production requirements and ensuring a celebratory and engaging experience for both digital and live audiences.
Originally developed during the COVID era, the digital event format of the EINMA Awards has evolved into a long-term solution, ensuring accessibility for nurses and midwives across the state.
Continuously adapting since its fully digital beginnings, the awards now feature a live event where Keyy is on-site to capture the highlights, while also producing pre-recorded interview packages that form the heart of the ceremony.
Incorporating a strong digital component within their live event enables NSW Health to repurpose these assets into highlight reels and social media teaser content packages, extending the event’s impact beyond the room.
Beyond the event itself, these digital assets serve as lasting tributes, showcasing the dedication and achievements of NSW’s healthcare professionals while reinforcing a sense of pride and connection within the industry.
