With the amount of video content required to stay competitive in today's market, it’s highly likely that your organisation will need to work with multiple video production companies or suppliers at the same time.

Why?

There are so many different video needs that will require different approaches, scales, and expertise.

🎥 You may need a creative agency for your larger scale TVC, print and media campaigns.

🎥 You may need an in-house video production team who shoots and edits fast response content for your social media team.

🎥 You may need a mid-range video production agency you can work with throughout the year on multiple video marketing campaigns.

🎥 You may need a freelance drone videographer for one specific project.

🎥 You may need a video production company who shoots all your internal content throughout the year like company updates, conference content, staff events, recruitment videos, and training videos.

Isn't there a one-stop shop?

It can be tempting to try and find a one-stop-shop who will solve all your video production requirements. Or hiring in-house and thinking that you’ll never need to outsource again.

But the truth is, it’s likely you’ll need to work with multiple video content suppliers throughout the year.

Because someone who specialises in filming training videos might not also be the best team to create your next TVC or film your conference event.

Video production is an art. And no agency or freelancer or in-house hire is going to be the silver bullet.

Tips for working with multiple video production agencies

Video Production is a creative field, and not all videos are created equal.

You may need different specialist suppliers to make your TVC's, film your staff retreat, and shoot your product videos.

Here's our tips for seamlessly working with multiple agencies at the same time:

🎥 Tip #1: Make sure your branding guidelines are clear and all your suppliers have access to the resources they need to ensure brand consistency. You may also want to share the work created by other suppliers so they get an understanding of previous projects and where they fit.

🎥 Tip #2: If in doubt, get a quote! Build relationships with your suppliers and keep up to date with their work. Lots of agencies and suppliers grow in capacity and ability and may be able to service more of your needs than you realise. Getting a proposal allows the supplier to suggest how they would work on the project with you so you can pick the right supplier for the job.

🎥 Tip #3: Share your contacts across the business. If you’re in marketing or content you probably have already done a lot of ground work with your suppliers and finding the right fit for your brand. Share these contacts with other departments who you might not even realise are creating training videos, filming events, or sales videos.

Are we the right video production team for you?

You can always reach out to us and ask if we’re the right team for your next video project. If we’re not, we’ll tell you straight away and point you in the right direction.

The way we see it, we’re working alongside your team and we’re here when you need. But we still quote each project individually. That way, we can scale our resources to match each project and you can work with us when and how you need us.

And we know we might be just one part of the army helping you fight the Battle of Content Demand.
